Abstract

1280153 Pillar loops for safety harnesses TELEFLEX Ltd 14 July 1969 [7 May 1968] 21481/68 Heading A3V A pillar loop for securing the strap of a safety harness to a vehicle pillar comprises a metal integral triangular bracket portion 11 and bail portion 13, the portions defining a slot 15 parallel to a side of portion 11 and having ends 16 which curve in the direction of the apex of portion 11. The loop is adapted to be bolted to the vehicle pillar through a hole 12 in portion 11 and the loop is cranked at 17. The portion 13 is embedded in plastics material 18, and a plastics cover 21 clamps over portion 11.
