Abstract

1280038 Prefabricated service wall unit MONTECATINI EDISON SpA 8 Sept 1969 [10 Sept 1968] 44326/69 Heading E1A The height of a prefabricated partition wall comprising an upper section B and a lower section A bearing bathroom fittings, is adjustable by varying the height of the chamber 23 formed between the two sections, which chamber is then concealed by the refitting of a correspondingly dimensioned glass sheet forming part of the diffuser 2 contained by the chamber. The partition shown constitutes one for two adjacent bathrooms, for one bathroom the partition consists of half with reference to line C-C. The sections comprise plastics sandwich panels the ends of which are at least partially closed by profiled plastics strips 13, 21. Each panel has a foamed polyurethane cone which serves, in section A, to fasten in position pipes and cables. The panels of section B are independent from each other. An inspection door 12 for piping is also provided-Fig. 1, and the side edges of the partition are grooved for anchorage to masonry side structures (Fig. 5).
