Abstract

1278863 Locks HUWIL-WERKE HUGO WILLACH & SOHNE 24 Feb 1970 [26 April 1969] 8720/70 Heading E2A A three bolt fastening with two rotatable bolt rods 4 and a slider 2 incorporating a bolt guided relatively to a casing by ribs thereon engaging grooves 2b in the slider includes a recess 2c in extensions on a surface facing a bottom of the casing each recess 2c being engaged by a trunnion on a bolt rod drive member 3 secured to each bolt rod 4 respectively. The casing supports a key stem 1a which projects through an aperture 2a in the slider. The aperture extends to an enlarged recess having opposed surfaces 6. In operation a bit of a key engaging the lock stem contacts one surface 6 to project the bolt when the key is turned and contacts the other surface 6 to withdraw the bolt when the key is reversely turned, the bolt rods are simultaneously rotated to fastening and releasing position.
