Abstract
1277949 Switch contacts W R BYRNE 1 Aug 1969 [1 May 1969] 38714/69 Heading H1N A switch contact with at least its surface being of 99À9% nickel has stable contact resistance in the presence of corrosive atmospheres of sulphur and/or oxygen. The preferred purity is 99À98% nickel. A flat wire strip contact provides a rotor contact 2, Figs. 1, 2 (not shown), embedded in a moulded plastics support 1.
