Abstract

1277739 Flock dispenser DUNLOP HOLDINGS Ltd 2 Dec 1969 [3 Dec 1968] 57212/68 Headings D1L and D1N In a flock dispenser comprising a stationary grid and a rotary brush in contact therewith, the grid has attached thereto teeth which interact with the brush to trap and break up balls of fibre. The teeth may face the oncoming brush at an angle of 30-45‹ with the grid. The grid may be electrically charged. As shown, a rotary brush 3 makes contact with a flat base grid 2 and a plurality of rows 7 of teeth. Alternatively (Fig. 2), the dispenser may be an open trough having a hemicylindrical base grid and cylindrical brush.
