Abstract

1277661 Valves ROTORK Ltd 10 March 1970 [13 March 1969] 13260/69 Heading F2V [Also in Division H1] In a limit switch arrangement for controlling the electric motor drive of an actuator shaft (Fig. 1, not shown) and otherwise the same as that of Specification 1,207,967, the means for initially latching the striker plate 40 comprises a pawl 82 pivoted at 83 to a fixed part and having a portion 85 engageable with a lug 81 on the plate 40. A release cam 92 is carried by the auxiliary striker 80, whereby when striker plate 40 is turned to engage one or other of the limit switches 10a, 10b pawl 82 latches the lug 81; thereafter actuation of plate 40 in the opposite direction by an overload is prevented until the auxiliary striker 80 is moved back to its middle position in response to actuator end stop movement. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1,003,761, 1,003,764, 1,003,765, 1,003,766, 1,011,989 and 1,027,526.
