Abstract

1276795 Ship's cargo holds GOTAVERKEN AB 6 July 1970 [25 Aug 1969] 32543/70 Heading B7S [Also in Division E1] A cargo-hold of a ship is lined with, for example stainless steel, by providing support members 13 along the junctions between the sides 10, 11, 12, placing fluted strips 18, 19, 20 over the support members and arranging sheets 14, 15, 16 over the sides with the joggled edges thereof overlying the edges of the strips 18, 19, 20. A star-shaped element is provided at the corner, the arms 25, 26, 27 being spaced from the strips 18, 19, 20; strips 29 cover the clearances. Overlying portions of the strips and sheets are fluid-tightly welded.
