1276453 Prefabricated buildings G CASTIGLIONI 18 Feb 1970 [19 Feb 1969] 7669/70 Heading E1A An electrical sub-station housing or cabin is made up from two superposed prefabricated hollow blocks 7, 8 anchored via angle members 16 to rag bolts 5 extending from recesses 4 in a foundation slab 2. Each block has an embedded reinforcing lattice to which threaded bushings (19, Fig. 3) are attached for the subsequent fastening of equipment. The tongue and groove connections between the two blocks and block and base may be reinforced by adhesive.
