[Also in Division C1] Ceramic-metal seals are formed when a composition of Al 2 O 3 , SiO 2 , CaOŒMgO is melted, the molecular ratio CaO/Al 2 O 3 or the SiO 2 being up to 20%, and when MgO is included, at least 10 moles CaO is present for each mole MgO.
