Abstract

1,274,881. Ventilating duct. D. A. SLADE. 29 Jan., 1970 [7 Feb., 1969], No. 6902/69. Heading FIB. [Also in Division F4] A moulded P.V.C. or propylene ventilating duct 1 for use between bricks has an internal rib 14 to prevent the ingress of water. A rib may be provided all the way round the inner surface of the duct so that it may be used in any position. The walls may slope outwardly from the rib at 1¢‹. For use in a cavity wall the duct is larger and has an outer rib for positioning against the inner face of the outer wall. The duct may be fabricated from any sheet material.
