Abstract
1,272,439. Latch fastenings. L. R. BOOTLE & NORMAN Ltd. 10 July, 1970 [12 July, 1969], No. 35219/69. Heading E2A. [Also in Division A4] A latch used in a delivery receptacle (see Division A4) has latch means 39 biassed into the latching position by spring 43, and detent 49, biassed by. spring 51 to hold the latch withdrawn. Trip member 56, biassed by spring 58 is provided to enable detent 49 to be rotated and so release latch means 39. Lever 24 is provided to withdraw the latch means to the position shown, this lever being operated through a second lever 9 which also withdraws a latch at the opposite side of the receptacle.
