[Also in Division A4] A lance for cleaning difficultly accessible tanks comprises a nozzle 8 attached to a flexible hose 1 guided in rigid pipe sections 2, 3, 4, 5 which encase it and are movable on it, these sections being adapted to be joined rigidly together. The connections may be by plug-in unions, or by threaded sleeves. The first rigid section 2 may be connected to nozzle 8, which preferably has a smooth internal surface to prevent atomization.
