N-alkoxyalkylene-N-alkyl ureas of the general formula in which A represents one or more identical or different substituents chosen from the following groups: H, halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl and alkoxy; B is the CO or CH 2 radical ; m = 0 or 1; R and R<SP>1</SP> are (identical or different) alkyl radicals containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and n=2 or 3. Compounds may be prepared by reacting an isocyanate of Formula II with a secondary amine of the formula The compounds are used as the active ingredient in herbicidal, fungacidal and pesticidal compositions.
