Abstract

1,268,179. Vehicle roofs. WEBASTOWERK G.m.b.H. 22 Sept., 1970 [4 Oct., 1969], No. 45091/70. Heading B7B. A vehicle roof has a swing-out roof panel 12 connected to L-shaped adjusting members 9 pivoted to the panel by a bearing 13 and to the roof frame 10 by a pivot pin 11. The pivot pin 11 is above the bearing 13 when the panel 12 is in lowered position, Fig. 2. The bearing 13 is slidable in a guide 15 having a slot 16 for a tension spring 17. Four adjusting members (1, 2, 3, 4), Fig. 1 (not shown), are provided for a roof panel having handle recesses (5, 6, 7, 8), the adjusting members may be raised together or in opposite pairs.
