Abstract

1,267,058. Knitting-machines. ELITEX-ZAVODY TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITELSTVI. 16 June, 1969 [26 June, 1968], No. 30365/69. Heading D1C. The operation of a circular machine, including the cylinder rotation and actuation of machine components is controlled pneumatically. Pulses derived from rotation of the cylinder by a synchroniser 2 are compared with preset values w 1-4 in a counter 3. At the predetermined times a pattern mechanism 4 is triggered, and control pulses thereby fed via lines Z a-g to members 6 a-g , activating e.g. cams and/or yarn guides. The output of counter 3 is also fed via line Y, to the motor control 5 to slow the machine. When the operation has been accomplished the normal speed is resumed by command on line 4 z . Stop motions 7a, 7b e.g. responsive to defective needles or yarn severing, pneumatically trigger the motor control.
