Abstract
1,266,295. Composite sinks. D. L. FRANCIS. 31 Oct., 1970, No. 51867/70. Heading BID. [Also in Divisions A4 and Dl] A composite sink unit comprises a main sink which is generally rectangular in plan view and has a step formed in each of two opposed side walls to form ledges 4 on which one or two elongated containers 13, each having an open top and a perforated bottom wall, are supported by means of a flange at the top of the end walls of the or each container, each side wall of the main sink and of the or each perforated container having a length which decreases from the top to the bottom of the wall. The main sink and containers may be pressed from stainless steel or suction or injection moulded from plastics material and are said to be useful in washing clothes, cutlery and crockery in confined spaces.
