Abstract

1,264,919. Cushions; bags. H. G. HUDSON. Sept.19, 1970, No.44721/70. Headings A4G and A4M. A folding cushion is foldable to form a bag and comprises a rectangular pad of foamed material disposed within a cover 10, 11 and provided at each longer side with a pair of flaps 12, 14 and 13, 15 each carrying stringer elements of a sliding clasp fastener. To form a bag, as in Fig. 4, the cushion is folded about lines extending transversely of its longer sides and the fasteners of each pair 12, 14 and 13, 15 are inter-connected by respective clasps 16, 17. The cover comprises respective layers 10, 11 of fabric and waterproof plastics. Carrying handles 18, 19 are secured at their ends to the flaps 12-15.
