Abstract

1,260,979. Bearings. DEUTSCHE STAR KUGELHALTER G.m.b.H. 30 Dec., 1970 [27 Jan., 1970], No. 61905/70. Heading F2A. A rectilinear motion bearing with recirculating balls comprises a plastics ring 1 in which the guide grooves 3, 4 are formed, each inner loadbearing groove 3 being covered towards the exterior of the ring by a steel track plate 10 provided with a groove 12. The plates 10 are retained by rings which encompass portions of reduced diameter at each end. The grooves 12 are impressed into the plates 10, and may also be ground in the load-bearing region, in which case the rectilinear parts of the grooves are extended beyond the ramp parts to the ends of the plates.
