Abstract

1,260,802. Valves. JOHN L. DORE CO. 20 Feb., 1970, No. 8204/70. Heading F2V. A corrosion resistant check valve comprises a pair of complementary body members 10, 12 together defining a body cavity 22; a first liner member 26 secured interiorly of the body member 10 and having a raised face 32 to form a valve seat, and a plurality of vanes 34; a second liner member 36 secured interiorly of the body member 12, having a plurality of vanes aligned with those of the first body member 10, at least one of the vanes having a stop; a valve member 40 slidable within the vanes; and means clamping the body members 10, 12 together. The liners are preferably made of polytetrafluoroethylene or a vinyl polymer. The ball valve member is also made corrosionresistant.
