A transformer or inductor is secured to a base or a terminal board is secured to the transformer by two-part fastening devices of which one part is secured to, and preferably moulded integrally with, the bobbin for the windings. Thus resilient hook 7,11, Fig. 5. may engage holes 10, 12 of a plate 9, Fig. 6.
