Abstract

1,253,857. Shuttleless looms. SULZER BROS. Ltd. 6 Dec., 1968 [8 Dec., 1967], No. 58071/68. Heading DIE. The guide comb for a gripper shuttle 49 or other weft inserter has teeth which can flex laterally of the path of the weft inserter. As shown, the jaw 47 is thin rod at 11 and the jaw 48 is thinned at 12 or 12'; or slots may be cut through the jaws to reduce the crosssectional area. There may be a narrow neck between the tooth and its shank 46.
