[Also in Division E2] Means for retaining a removable wall 10-14 of a pallet or other load-carrying base 8 against inadvertent removal comprises a latching member 1 adapted to be carried by the wall and having abutment means 6 engageable with abutment means 19 on the base, the latching member 1 being so mountable that as the wall is erected, the latching member is held in a retracted position from which it moves into a latching position with the abutment means on the base when the wall is in the erected position. As shown, the latching member is gravity or spring-actuated to its latching position.
