Abstract

1,251,259. Brushes. WORKSHOPS FOR THE BLIND. March 23, 1970 [April 1, 1969], No. 16883/69. Heading A4K. In a brush which comprises a plurality of knots 12 of thermoplastics material each knot having an enlarged fused head 18 and being mounted in a hole 16 in a flexible carrier 15, the flexible carrier is detachably secured to the body of the brush by locating it within a channel section mounting strip 11 of plastics material, said mounting strip being secured to the body by nailing. Screws (19) Figs. 1 and 2 (not shown) prevent the carrier strip 15 from being inadvertently withdrawn from the mounting strip.
