1,249,495. Inflatable life-jackets. G. Q. PARACHUTE CO. Ltd. 5 Nov., 1969 [12 Nov., 1968], No. 53540/68. Heading B7U. An inflatable stole comprises a bladder 35 having two lobes connected by a communicating chamber behind a wearer's neck and an inner tube 36 allows the lobes to be inflated simultaneously from a single inflation source 42. The embodiment described has an outer cover closed by two slide fasteners which can be opened simultaneously by movement of the slides in opposite directions from points adjacent locks 46 when the locks are removed by operation of handle 45.
