[Also in Division C2] Pesticidal compositions comprise a diluent or carrier and as active ingredient #-fluoroethyl benzoate or a compound of formula: where n=0 or an integer equal to or greater than 1, m=0, 1, 2; when n=0, m=0 or 1; when n=1, m=0, 1 or 2; when n is greater than 1, m=0 and (a) when n=0, m=0, X is alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxy, optionally substituted phenyl, nitro, halo, carboxyl, acyl or carboxy-2-fluoroethyl; (b) when n=0, m=1, X and Y are alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxy, optionally substituted phenyl, nitro, halo or acyl (c) when n=1, m=0 X is cyclohexyl, optionally substituted phenyl, benzyl, benzoyl, azophenyl, ethyl, acetyl, chloro or fluoro; (d) when n=1, m=1 or 2, X and Y are nitro or halo (e) when n is greater than 1 m=0 and X is halo, alkoxy, or optionally substituted phenyl.
