Abstract
1,245,115. Container traffic containers. MULTIMED G.m.b.H. 27 Sept., 1968 [23 Nov., 1967], No. 45967/68. Heading B8Q. A container has leg supports 1 with blocks 2 slidable in and out of outwardly open box girders 3 extending from top to bottom of the container and secured to its side walls and where appropriate to a partition 7. With the supports 1 in the extended operative position rams 6, 6<SP>1</SP> can be extended to support the container for loading on to and unloading from a lorry. The container is rigid the side walls consisting of rolled section members covered with plates and the bottom being formed as a flat torsionresistant and bend-resistant hollow box with an internal supporting framework. The section members may comprise ducts to carry ventilating, heating or cooling fluid extending between covered recessed sockets in the walls or floor. The top may be removable or hingable so that a crane may have access from above into the container which may be in the form of a shelter or temporary house.
