Abstract

1,244,278. Pressurized dispensing containers. GILLETTE CO. May 30, 1969 [June 7, 1968], No.27470/69. Heading F1R. In a device for dispensing a mixture of two materials under pressure from two containers a valve core 26 has an axial and rotary motion imparted to it by means of a pin 46 which moves in a cam slot 48 to connect a common discharge passageway 86 via grooves 102, 104 which contain restrictions 106 with housing passages 92, 94 which communicate via tubes 22, 24 with the bottoms of the container. In the embodiment described an inner container (18) Fig. 1 (not shown) is flexible and made of polythene while the outer container is rigid. The tube 24 Fig.3 passes through a seal in the wall of the inner container. A spring 38 is connected to the valve core 26 to resist its axial and rotational movement. Gaskets 30 seal the passages 92, 94 when the valve is not in operation.
