Abstract

1,243,210. Pneumatic conveyers. INSTITUT NATIONAL DE L'INDUSTRIE CHARBONNIERE. 27 June, 1968 [12 July, 1967], No. 30694/68. Addition to 928,829. Heading B8A. [Also in Division F4] In a pneumatic elevator for granular material an open receptacle 1 and a closed receptacle 2 having a common fluidizing floor 4 and being interconnected by an opening 3, gases heated by a burner 5 are introduced into the receptacle 2 above the fluidized bed. At the top of the annular elvating tube 6, the material is evacuated across a screen and the gases pass through a heat exchanger 9 which preheats the air, compressed by a fan 10, used to produce the hot gases and to fluidize the material on the floor 4.
