The subject matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in the parent Specification, but the claims are concerned with an apparatus for self-grinding of valuable raw materials which comprises a rotatable drum and a set of screening elements, each element comprising a segment provided with passages for ground material, some elements having passages of different crosssectional areas to those of other elements, and the elements being selectively and removably mountable in the drum whereby the size of the particles of ground material discharged through the passages can be varied.
