Abstract

1,236,426. Bearings. EISENWERK WULFEL. 12 Aug., 1968, No. 38522/68. Heading F2A. A pressure pad for a segmental bearing consists of a bearing member 2 having a grooved face 5 and a supporting member 1 having a grooved face, the grooved faces engaging each other. The grooves in the two members are preferably spiral or concentric. The bearing member is preferably circular in cross-section and has at its outer periphery a flange 6 which engages the edge of the supporting member.
