[Also in Division A5] The invention comprises cyclopropane carboxylic acid ester derivatives of the formula in which R<SP>1</SP> and K<SP>2</SP>, which may be the same or different, denote hydrogen or halogen atoms or alkyl or methoxy groups, R<SP>3</SP> and R<SP>4</SP>, which may also be the same or different, denote hydrogen or halogen atoms or methyl or methoxy groups or together form a third valence bond between the carbon atoms to which they are linked, and R<SP>5</SP> denotes a radical of either of the formulµ The esters are obtainable by standard esterification processes from the acids or their anhydrides, halides or esters by reaction with appropriate hydroxy or halogen compounds.
