1,235,322. Extruding filters. NORDDEUTSCHE SEEKABELWERKE A.G. 6 June, 1968 [7 June, 1967; 8 Nov., 1967; 14 Feb., 1968; 16 March, 1968], No. 27065/68. Heading B5A. [Also in Divisions B1-B2] A plastics tube of reticulate structure, comprising thick axial and annular ribs 37, 38 defining apertures bridged by thin axial and annular ribs 40, 41 (Fig. 9) is extruded continuously using a head (Fig. 11) comprising two annular nozzle supports 45, 46 with respective arrays of holes 49, 48 which form axial ribs 40, 37, the annular ribs 38, 41 being formed by moving supports 45, 46 apart a greater or lesser distance at proper intervals to allow thick or thin annular beads to pass between them.
