Abstract

1,231,763. Valves. SAMUEL BIRKETT Ltd. 22 Jan., 1970, No. 3073/70. Heading F2V. A spring-loaded safety valve comprises a closure member 8 with a recess housing a plastics disc 10, and a seat 4 having a surface 6 impregnated with P.T.F.E. The disc 10 is secured to the member 8 by a retainer 14 and screw 16, and the member 8 is fixed in a holder 18 by a clip 20, and aligned by a ball 24.
