Abstract

1,228,009. Cutters for coal ploughs. FRIED KRUPP G.m.b.H. 6 June, 1968 [7 June, 1967], No. 27048/68. Heading E1F. A floor cutter for a coal-plough comprises faces 8 disposed substantially at right angles to one another and a face 7 forming cutting edges 9 with the faces 8, the cutter having two additional cutting edges 12, 13 disposed in the plane bisecting the angle between the faces 8. The edges 12, 13 are provided by a carbide tip 11 secured in a recess 10 in the front end 3 of the cutter, the end 3 being held against rotation by pins 4.
