Abstract

1,225,331. Terminals for dynamo-electric machines; electric couplings. FISKER & NIELSEN A.S. 20 March, 1969 [20 March, 1968; 2 Oct., 1968], No. 14717/69. Headings H2A and H2E. An annular, laminated stator with salient poles has at least one field winding 4 and a flat, insulating holder 11 carrying connectors 17 for connecting the winding to an external circuit, the holder being slidable in guides on the inner side of the stator between adjacent poles and having ribs 16 extending between the connector members. As shown, the stator field windings 4, 5 with respective connectorholders 11, 12 slidable in guides formed in two-part insulating holders 7<SP>1</SP>, 7<SP>11</SP> for the windings. Each connector 17 comprises a flat strip formed with recesses to receive projections 18, Fig. 2, on the ribs 16 which, after mounting of the connector, are pressed down to lock it in position. The connector is twisted at one end to receive a sleeve 19 on an external lead 20 and at its other end has a pin 21 riveted thereto, said pin being slotted at 22 to receive a winding connection on to which it is then hot-pressed.
