Abstract

1,224,019. Rotating shoot. ALLIS-CHALMERS MFG. CO. 7 Oct., 1968 [16 Oct., 1967], No. 47415/68. Heading B8S. [Also in Division B2] Material is supplied to the crushing gap 10 of a gyratory crusher by an inclined shoot 17 journalled about a post 15 by bearings 19 and 20 and driven via pulleys 24, 45, belt 46 and 46 and electric motor 40. Feed to the distributer is by a conveyer 44 and hopper 30 supported by arms 32 above the crusher framework 1. In a second embodiment a motor 40a is mounted directly under the shoot 17a on a base-plate 12a on the spider hub 6 and so is completely shielded from falling stone, Fig. 2. The motor 40a is driven by pressure fluid and has an inlet 61 and outlet 62.
