Abstract

122,363. Jones, F. July 16, 1918 Spectacle lenses. - Eyeglasses are constructed of elliptical, oblong, or egg shaped lenses leaving the major axis vertical, as shown for example in Fig. 1. For ordinary long sight the upper portion a of each lens may be provided with an aperture, plain or coloured glass, or a neutralizing lens, and this portion may be ground plane and then polished.
