Abstract

1,222,088. Coated electric incandescent lamp. SYLVANIA ELECTRIC PRODUCTS Inc. 24 April, 1968 [28 April, 1967], No. 19460/68. Heading HlF. A bulb 2 is coated with a transparent liquid silicone plastic, sprinkled with glass beads 6 to give a monolayer of beads, and the coating cured. The layer of glass beads provides the bulb with a floating image 2<SP>1</SP>. A coating of plastics material may be provided over the beads. In an alternative embodiment the first coating may be a pigment-bearing alkyd resin.
