Abstract

1,221,256. Moulding cement briquettes. POLYSIUS A.G. G.m.b.H. 15 Nov., 1968 [2 Aug., 1968], No. 54259/68. Heading B5A. Cement briquettes are moulded by extruding cement paste 11 through orifices 4-9 in a circular plate 1, by means of a pressure member 3 which rotates about an axis 2 concentric with that of plate 1; the axes F4-F9 of the orifices 4-9 being inclined to the radial direction and intercepting the pressure applying surface 10 of member 3 at right angles thereto. The orifices may be lined with plastics inserts, or may be formed in bushes the axes whereof are normal to the surface of the curved plate.
