Abstract

1,216,970. Two-part couplings. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. 25 Sept., 1969 [1 Nov., 1968], No. 47218/69. Heading H2E. A printed circuit board 10 comprises a flexible substrate having holes 30 ... 33 cut in it which is placed over an insulating lamp socket body 40, being located by projections 74, 75, 76, pairs of conductors 16 ... 19 and 24 . . . 27 passing through the holes into capless lampreceiving rectangular sockets such as 43. On the side walls 44, 45 of each socket are protrusions 46, 47 which locate the lamp and press conductors 16, 26 into contact with the lamp contacts 65, 66. The wall 45 is flexibly mounted at 48 so allowing entry of the lamp which has a central cylindrical portion 67, received in semicylindrical slits in protrusions 46, 47, and a pair of webs 68, 69 to which are attached the contacts 65, 66.
