Abstract

1,216,052. Measuring temperature electrically. PYRO-WERK G. m. b. H. Feb. 20, 1969 [May 18, 1968], No.9214/69. Heading G1A. The temperature of a moving wire as filament 1 is measured by temperature responsive devices 2, 3, 4 mounted symmetrically on a support 5 surrounding the wire or filament 1. As shown each device includes a thermocouple 2a mounted in a holder 2b and a heat-transmitting radiationreceiving disc 2c. The electrical outputs of the thermocouples 2a-4a are connected in series.
