Abstract

1,214,946. Wall structures. HOLLAND BUILDING CORP. N.V. 2 Aug., 1968 [9 Aug., 1967], No. 37043/68. Headings E1K and E1W. Plates or frames 2 are secured to rectangular section pillar 1 by the clamping action of substantially U-shaped sections 4 and 5 arranged on each side of the pillar 1. The two U-shaped sections 4 and 5 are connected by U-shaped members 6. By the use of nuts 10 and plate 11 which is welded to one U-section the two U- sections are movable relative to each other. Free space between the clamping sections and the column may be used for central heating, water or gas pipes or electric cables.
