Abstract

1,211,848. Boxes. NEW MERTON BOARD MILLS Ltd. 26 April, 1968 [8 March, 1967], No. 10916/67. Addition to 1,084,243. Heading B8P. The collapsible box of Specification 1,084,243, erected from a blank, e.g. of cardboard, comprising a bottom panel 1, side panels 2, 3, extension panels 4, narrow panels 7, 9 and end flaps 8, is modified by providing notches 19 on the end flaps which engage slits 17, 18 in the extension panels. The panels 2, 3 are bent upright and the extension panels 4 interlocked, by tongues and slits 5, 6, outside the panels 3. The panels 9 are bent outside the panels 4 while the panels 7 are bent horizontally, the end flaps 8 being tucked into the slits 17, whereupon the notches 19 engage the slits 18.
