Abstract

1,209,843. Constructional toy. A. FISCHER. 2 Feb., 1968 [18 Feb., 1967], No. 5446/68. Heading A6S. A constructional toy comprises a plurality of building bricks of which interlock by means of re-entrant tenons 8 and grooves 6 and a component 4 having elongated slots 5 in a wall thereof to enable bricks to be supported on the component, and in which the component also forms a box or a portion thereof for storage of the bricks. The slots are bevelled from the inside of the box so that its outer surface can be used as a base for models made from the building blocks. Should the slots 5 not extend to the edges of the box or component, widened portion 9 must be provided for introduction of the tenons 8. Box-bracing ribs 3 are cut away at 10 above the slots to allow unimpeded passage of the tenons.
