Different buttons contained in individual button tanks 15, 17, 18 and 19 are caused by vibrator 10 to be discharged therefrom to slide down shoots 23, 24, 25, 26 into a composite shoot 27 so that by the setting of element 33 the predetermined button is delivered through slot 35 on to bracket 6 and held in place by clamp 36 from which the button is to be displaced to a button sewing machine. Element 33 (Fig. 3).-By vertical displacement of element 33 the appropriate shoot is aligned with the slot 35 to deliver the chosen button on to fixed bracket 6. Additionally a vertical tongue 37 is provided so that when displacement of element 33 is thus effected to change the button to be delivered through slot 35 the upward movement of tongue 37 serves to displace inwards and leftwards the button which is already in slot 35. Setting device 38 (Figs. 1 and 5).-A plurality of push buttons 43 is provided corresponding to the number of shoots for different buttons. When push button 43 is displaced rightwards in Fig. 5 bevelled portion 56 displaces plate 67 clockwise around pivot 66 to cause tongue 37 (Fig. 3), to move upwards. Additionally, projection 57 (which is carried by button 43) engages and displaces plate 59 around shaft 54 to displace element 33 (Fig. 3), relative to slot 35 so that a new button is now delivered from the respective shoot into the slot 35.
