A sanitary liquid trap comprises a bottleshaped body formed of two interfitting parts 2, 3, the neck of the upper part 2 being formed with an integral extension 6 and an outlet spigot, provided in the side of the upper part, connected to an S-bend, complementary dimples and spines (13, 14, Fig. 2) ensuring correct positioning. The neck has an external shoulder 7 which retains a nut 8 by means of which the trap can ibe secured to the outlet spigot of a bath 10 and an outlet spigot 15 provided in the lower part 3 may be connected to, e.g. a bath overflow.
