Abstract

1,203,861. Cartridge fuses. A. REYROLLE & CO. Ltd. 14 Aug., 1969 [23 May, 1968], No. 24643/68. Heading H2G. A low-voltage cartridge fuse has a barrel containing a fuse element embedded in an electrically insulating cellular thermosetting plastics material which is introduced into the barrel (after the fuse element) and allowed to set therein. The material is preferably a foaming material (a polyurethane or an epoxy resin system) which forms closed gas-filled cells.
