A meat product comprises two patties of ground meat having a stuffing material between them, peripheral portions of the patties being sealed one with another, with a binder such as an edible protein or egg white. The stuffing material may be cheese, onions, mushrooms, butter, pineapple, peppers, crab meat, bacon and clams. The product may be prepared by placing a stuffing material on the upper surface of a lower patty, treating the peripheral portion of this upper surface with a binder and pressing a second ground meat patty on to the first patty whereby peripheral portions of the two patties are sealed one to another by the binder.
