Abstract

1,202,841. Cargo slings. GOTEBORGS BANDVAVERI AB. 10 Jan., 1969 [10 Jan., 1968], No. 1505/69. Heading B8H. A sling is formed from two superimposed bands which are interconnected during the weaving process by threads which pass from one band to the other. The interconnection is discontinued at both ends of the sling so that the separate bands can be formed into outer and inner loops 5, 7, respectively. The completed loops have their ends 6, 8, stitched as at 9. The loops may be reinforced by leather patches 10 and the sling is preferably made of synthetic fibres.
