[Also in Division A4] A mop or like head construction comprises a dome-shaped member 1 having a handle socket 2 at its apex, the inner wall of the member 1 having two vertically extending recesses 3, 4 disposed diametrically opposite one another for location of vertical arms 11, 12 of a wire crosspiece 10 of substantially U-shape, the recesses each having an orifice 5, 6 locating the ends 8, 9 of the crosspiece. Strands comprising a mop head may be supported on the crosspiece 10.
